Pope Francis said Friday he was not
yet fully recovered from a bout of bronchitis and mild flu and
had a Vatican official read out his prepared speech for a
Vatican dicastery.
"I still haven't fully recovered, so I've asked Monsignor
Ciampanelli to read it so as not to make an excessive effort".
said Francis this while opening the audience with the Dicastery
for Evangelisation and asking Monsignor Filippo Ciampanelli of
the Secretariat of State to read the prepared speech.
The 86-year-old Argentine pontiff has had his speeches and
prayers regularly read out for him lately.
